• Multi-scenario application of JHCTECH’s SIGM series in rail transit system




    As of the end of 2019, 520 cities in 75 countries and regions have opened urban rail transit, with an operating mileage of more than 28,000 kilometers. Overall, the demand for rail transit infrastructure construction in developed countries  is mainly focused on the smart transformation of old lines. Emerging economies such as China and India have experienced rapid economic growth in recent years. Driven by strong development, the demand for new line construction is strong. Not long ago, the trillion-dollar investment plan for China's new infrastructure set off a frenzy of development and construction. Rail transit construction is a key area for the layout of new infrastructure construction. The application of rail transit plus "intelligent brain" is an inevitable requirement and trend of the entire transportation network. Therefore, it also puts forward higher requirements for intelligent equipment.

         Application scenario   

    1、CCTV monitoring system
    CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) system is a video monitoring system for subway stations, depots, etc. It consists of  camera,  codec, carrier network, and back-end storage management system. In the rail transportation communication system, the CCTV system is an important means to strengthen  the operation organization and management of the train operation, improve the  operation efficiency, ensure passenger safety and prevent disasters. The train  monitoring system (CCTV) provides a comprehensive train monitoring system  solution. The operation of each carriage can be recorded through an IP camera  and directly transmitted to the BOX PC for real-time and high-definition  display. The operator can monitor the passenger flow in the station in real time , train entry and exit stations and passengers getting on and off, through the monitoring of the car and the cab to improve passenger safety.

    2、PIS (Passenger Information System)

    The vehicle-mounted PIS system---the passenger information  system, is a service system applied to provide various types of  information for passengers and the central control room in rail  transit and public transportation, including: broadcast  communication system, passenger information display system and  multimedia playback system, video monitoring system and  emergency support system. Passengers can learn about train  operation information, public information and safety issues in time  through the on-board or station display terminal. At the same time,  the system can broadcast weather forecasts, current news, entertainment programs and other content during the gap between train operations. The PIS system is mainly composed of the front-end equipment of the control center, the on-board passenger information processing terminal and the transmission channel.

    3、DMI driver assistance system


    DMI (driver machine interface) is located in the driver's control unit cab and is installed in the center of the train operation unit. It is generally about 10 inches of LCD screen. When the on-board signal equipment is working normally, DMI can display the train driving mode, operating mode, speed limit, door status, train positioning and other key information points directly provide information for the train driver to operate the train. In this system,JHCTECH SIGM series computer collected various information and transmit to the DMI display.

    4、Vehicle monitoring and diagnosis

    Monitor and diagnose trains throughout the operation of urban rail transit trains to ensure the stability of train operation and passengers and safety. Examples as

    Rail Transit Hardware Inspection System
    In this system,  the rugged SIGM series fanless on-board computer intelligently analyzes the hardware equipment of the entire vehicle, checks for hardware anomalies that occur during the operation of rail vehicles, and replaces manual point-to-point detection.  Then, all the inspection data is uploaded to the ground center control room in real time to ensure the hardware abnormal equipment problems can be quickly resolved. As a mid-to-low magnetic levitation vehicle track detector, SIGM series fanless vehicle- mounted computer collects the information through the collection module installed on the train, and analyzes the collected results through the software installed in the SIGM fanless vehicle-mounted computer in advance; then it connects to the external network through a 4G router to communicate with the management center, and the SIGM series fanless box computer sends the collected and analyzed data to the management center to realize the monitoring of the train hardware system.
